Commonwealth Scholarships to study Masters in the UK are offered to citizens of developing Commonwealth countries. These scholarships are funded by the UK Department for International Development (DFID).

- Scholarship provides return airfare to the UK, tuition and examination fees, a stipend, a thesis grant (if applicable), a warm clothing allowance and more.
Qualification for Commonwealth Master’s Scholarships:
To apply for these scholarships you must:
- Be a citizen of an eligible Commonwealth country or have been granted refugee status, or a UK protected person.
- Live permanently in an eligible Commonwealth country.
- Can start academic study in the UK before the start of the UK academic year in September 2024.
- By September 2024, hold a first degree to at least a second class (2:1) honors standard, or a second class degree and a relevant postgraduate qualification (usually a master's degree). CSC does not normally fund a second UK Masters degree. If you are applying for a second UK Master's degree, you will need to provide reasons as to why you wish to undertake this study.
- Without this scholarship, studying in the UK would not be affordable.

Application instructions:
You must apply using CSC's Electronic Application System (EAS) in addition to any other application forms that the nominating agency asks you to complete. All applications must be submitted by 17:00 BST on 17 October 2023 at the latest.
